For insurance purpose, motor vehicle have been classified under Motor Tariff as follow :-
A. Private car — Used for social, domestic and pleasure purpose and for the business or professional purposes of insured only.
B. Commercial vehicles –
1. Motor trade ( road risk )
2. Goods carrying vehicles :- schedule 1 – own goods ( private Goods carrier)
- Schedule 2– General carriage ( Public goods carrier)
3. Cars for Hire ( public Taxis)
4. Hire cars –Hirer Driving/ Chauffeur Driven
5. Omnibuses – Public / Private / School
6. Special type,
